The State EMS office has undergone several changes in the last two years. They have switched from a State Test given by Schroeder Measurement Technologies, to the National Registry of EMTs and Paramedics. They are now giving a new State exam for Paramedics and the National Registry exam for EMTs. For more information, check with the State Medical Quality Assurance Department or MQA.
